SERVICE |
| |
With 10 acres of land and 22,000 sq. ft. of service space, we comfortably maintain a fleet of 500 yachts. Our site is finely manicured, reflecting the special care and service we provide. Though our technicians provide complete mechanical, electrical, rigging, carpentry, finish, and fiberglass services, we are especially well-versed in rigging work and fiberglass repair. Our ever-growing list of service specialties also includes custom woodwork, yacht finish application, and mechanical repowers. |

FACILITIES/EQUIPMENT |

With a 30-ton travel lift, a 60-ton travel lift, a 20-ton hydraulic trailer, a fork lift, and a 15-ton hydraulic mobile crane, we are well-equipped to handle most any yacht. Our buildings are heat controlled, well lighted, and fully ventilated. Our indoor storage facility is home to as many as 24 boats in the off-season, but an additional facility is in the works, thanks to a recently approved plan to expand our yard’s service accommodations. |

MECHANICAL |
| |
With three full-time, fully-certified mechanics, our crew services running gear, upgrades sanitation systems, updates electrical systems, repowers engines, and tackles annual yacht maintenance. To stay ahead in this highly technical industry, our crew members also attend service schools on a regular basis, such as those offered by MerCruiser, Yanmar, Sealand, and Westerbeke. In addition, each year, the crew participates in companywide in-house service seminars. |

REFINISHING |
| |
Our finish department is headed by a very skilled industry veteran capable of structural and cosmetic gelcoat repairs, blister and bottom work, and major modifications, including superstructures and hulls. The crew also maintains brightwork and applies yacht-quality Awlgrip finishes. |

ELECTRICAL |
| |
Our electrical service is provided by ABYC certified technicians. We offer everything from inverter and alternator installations, to battery bank hookups, to complete diagnostic services. |

|
CARPENTRY |
| |
Our carpentry department is very talented and always enjoys a good woodworking challenge. Carpentry projects at Glen Cove include teak and holly cabin soles, teak decks, built-in cabinetry, joinery work, and custom yacht transoms. |

RIGGING |
| |
Our rigging department stands out for its skill, experience, and full-service nature. Headed by an experienced rigger who has a passion for sailing and racing, this two man crew not only offers basic services such as furling unit installations, running rigging modifications, and complete mast surveys, but also offers IRC measurements and both traditional and modern rope splicing. In addition, Glen Cove was recently charged with the responsibility of organizing Brewer Yacht Yards’ annual, in-house rigging seminar.
