In addition, the Cove Haven crew is recognized for its classic yacht maintenance and restoration abilities, thanks to a long history of involvement in the care of classic America’s Cup yachts. Nevertheless, high-tech, modern yachts are cared for with equal skill and attention by this well-rounded team.

In well-maintained, fully-lighted, temperature-controlled shops we offer boat yard services year-round. Our operation is supported by two travel lifts - one a 60-ton lift, the other a 150-ton lift - giving us the ability to haul boats up to 110-feet in length. Our heavy equipment fleet also includes a 15-ton mobile crane and a 15-ton forklift. This equipment allows us to move efficiently about our property (more than six acres) as well as in and out of our storage buildings and paint shop.

Our mechanical shop keeps a busy service schedule, tackling everything from basic maintenance to extensive repairs and refits. The vast knowledge and skill of our five man crew has earned us an excellent service reputation. Regularly updating certifications, our technicians remain on the cutting edge of the marine service industry, regularly attending service schools and in-house seminars. Our paint shop is widely recognized for top-quality finishes, accurate estimates, and on-time performance. We have experience with everything from traditional brush application to modern, high volume low pressure, spray application. Whether classic or modern, any yacht that passes through our paint shop is beautifully transformed. The finish crew also has expertise in major fairing, fitting, and repair of hulls, keels, rudders, and decks.

Our staff is ABYC certified and capable of installing and servicing everything from inverters, to battery banks, to complete electronics packages. In addition to refits and reconfigurations, we are also fully versed in powering bow and stern thruster installations.
