Behind Brewer Deep River Marina's quaint, New England facade of carriage-house shops and modest service buildings, is a full-service boat yard. In this unique and picturesque setting, our professional, year-round crew enjoys an excellent reputation for complete marine service. Our highly skilled team includes: mechanics, electricians, finishers, carpenters, fiberglass specialists, and riggers. Together we are capable of: gas, diesel, and stern drive engine service, structural fiberglass and gel coat repair, paint and varnish application, AC/DC electrical service, systems installations, rigging and complete carpentry service.

As an authorized service center for MerCruiser engines, Volvo-Penta stern drives, Yanmar small engines, and Kohler generators, our technicians are also trained and certified to provide complete warranty service. In addition, our crew regularly attends in-house Brewer Yacht Yard training seminars and is certified in electrical work by the American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC).

Facilities

At Brewer Deep River Marina, our small, intimate setting means boats are never lost in the hustle and bustle typical of larger yacht yards. Here, our top-notch service technicians and craftsmen are able to give boats undivided attention. With the help of a 25-ton marine travelift, a 20-ton hydraulic trailer, a 15-ton hydraulic crane, a four-bay mechanic shop, and a single-bay boat shop, we provide care and service for approximately 300 boats.

Mechanical

Our mechanical team is capable of rebuilding, replacing, and/or repairing: gas and diesel engines, running gear, plumbing, hydraulic, and electrical systems, and any other serviceable boat part or system in need of attention. While our talented crew offers a full spectrum of mechanical services, we are best known for our specialty niche in stern drive service.

Refinishing

Our finish department consistently turns out yacht-quality paint and varnish work, cosmetic gel coat repairs, and major structural fiberglass repairs and modifications.

Electrical

Our electrical service is provided by ABYC certified techs who abide by strict industry standards. We install everything from 110-volt shore power systems to complete electronics packages.

Carpentry

Our carpentry crew is capable of building and remodeling gallies, cabinets, lockers, and hatches as well as repairing and replacing basic trim work. Our crew also has the ability to do traditional plank-on-frame construction when called for.

Rigging

Rigging service is available along with covered mast storage.
