Brewer Ferry Point Marina is located in Old Saybrook, one of Connecticut’s earliest settlements. Founded in 1635, its first center was the site of Fort Saybrook at Saybrook Point, now commemorated by the Fort Saybrook Museum and Park. Old Saybrook still retains much of its historic significance and its unspoiled beauty. This friendly community features summer concerts on the town green starting in June. For those on the antiques trail, there are more than 400 merchants, from large dealers to small private shops, where you are sure to find something special.

For those wishing to explore the Connecticut River, there are many interesting sites to visit, including the Connecticut River Museum in Essex, Gillette Castle in Hadlyme, Goodspeed Opera House in East Haddam and Adrian's Landing in Hartford.
