The Shipyard is located just off the river in North Cove. It has approximately 100 slips capable of berthing boats from 20’ to 100’, on floating docks, which are outfitted with 30 and 50 amp power, water, cable and free WIFI.

A well trained and skilled staff of marine technicians – who have an excellent reputation – are available to take care of your (and your boat’s) every need. They are available all year long as the shipyard cares for a wide range of vessels on a year-round basis.

The Marina (formerly known as The Chandlery) is located on the west bank of the river just north of marker R-26 in the middle of the Essex mooring field. The marina has 35 floating docks, and a 150’ fixed dock which also serves as the Valvtect fuel dock. Additionally, the marina has 55 moorings, which are serviced by the marina’s launch. Ample electric is accessible with 30, 50 and 100 Amp service all being available. Water and WIFI can be found at each slip.

Both Properties offer an array of marine and non-marine businesses on their premises. Meals can be enjoyed at the Crows Nest Deli, while boating needs can be addressed by: Boatique USA, Boatworks Yacht Sales, Eastland Yachts, Aldrich Yacht Sales, Island Pilot, and various other vendors. Both Essex Yacht Club and Essex Corinthian Yacht Club provide visiting yachtsmen reciprocal privileges to their home clubs.

Main Street and the Village of Essex are convenient to both locations, with most stores, restaurants and attractions within walking distance.
