About the Area

Fiddler's Cove provides easy cruising access to prime destinations including: Martha's Vineyard, Nantucket, Newport & Cuttyhunk. Ideal cruising, wonderful day-boating, and fantastic fishing are all readily available.

Nearby, the splendors of the region are easily accessible by land, including the 27,000 acre Cape Cod National Seashore, featuring more than a dozen lighthouses, and six glorious beaches. Hiking trails, beach walks, and bicycle paths encompass the national park. Be sure to look for the fiddler crabs along the beaches and inter-tidal mud flats. They are quick-moving and harmless, and grow to approx 2” at their largest. Males have an over sized claw that resembles one playing a fiddle, when they move.

For on-land recreation, Cape Cod features 27 public golf courses, and 15 private facilities. A popular summer theater, country stores, museums, and plenty of restaurant choices are all within easy reach.
