Service
Proud members of
Brewer Plymouth Marine is small in size, but big on service. Although one of the smaller Brewer locations, Brewer Plymouth Marine competently manages projects that are often handled by much larger facilities. Along the waterfront, our reputation for mechanical services is just as well-respected as our top-notch paint and finish facility. On the south coast of Massachusetts, you will not find more experience for service.
From annual maintenance to a complete refit, each yachtsman's vision is realized while consulting with our service professionals. From an engine repower or systems installation, a fine Awlgrip finish, electrical upgrader, or custom boat building project from the keep up — our team can ensure a quality job!
Facilities/Equipment
Two 60 ton Travelifts, an 18 ton crane with a 70-foot boom, Taylor 15,000 lb capacity negative lift and JLG Gradal manlift fully support the service and storage of nearly 200 boats. There is 50,000 square foot total inside storage and a 33’ by 88’ bay, designated as a paint and fiberglass shop, on approximately three, well-groomed acres.

Our technicians have manufacturers’ certification for: Cummins, Yanmar, Caterpillar, Westerbeke, Crusader, MerCruiser, and Kohler Generators. In addition, we sell and service Marine Air and Cruise Air Systems, SidePower and Vetus bow thrusters; Espar heating equipment; Lewmar, Lofrans, windlasses; and refrigeration systems of all types.
Finish
Two Awlgrip application specialists manage fiberglass repair and modification, and gelcoat refinishing. Our flawless varnish applicator complements the crew by expertly completing quality yacht finishes. Whether a minor ding or significantly damaged fiberglass, resulting from collision or fire, our crew has the ability to return your vessel to original condition. We also have the ability to recover blister-damaged boats; maintain interior and exterior brightwork; and provide bottom barrier coating.
Electrical
ABYC certified technicians provide the electrical service to adhere to industry standards. Whether rewiring your boat or installing communications and navigation equipment, our services include: alternator and inverter installations; battery bank hook-ups; and diagnostic trouble shooting.
Carpentry
Our finish carpenter handles both shipwright and cabinetry work. Whether your next woodworking project requires custom fabrication, major modification, or simple trim work, we can help.
