Service

Brewer Hawthorne Cove Marina, the newest of the 22 Brewer yards, is a full-service boat yard with an excellent reputation. The marina offers facilities to haul and launch; in addition to a full Service Department with experienced mechanics, gel coat and fiberglass specialists, riggers, and marine electricians—all on site. Brewer Hawthorne Cove is one of the smaller Brewer yards, and boat owners get a lot of personal attention as well as extra help with developing custom boat service and maintenance programs to fit individual needs.

Facilities/Equipment

We are constantly working to improve our facility to better serve you. Presently our crew manages the restoration, repair, and maintenance of commercial recreational and competitive vessels on a year-round basis. We have a 35-ton travel lift equipped with a boom crane, a 15-ton hydraulic trailer, and a forklift. We expect to continually augment this equipment in the future as we continue to develop our yard.

Mechanical and Systems

Our full-time experienced and certified mechanics handle everything from routine engine maintenance to engine repowers, systems installations, and troubleshooting, installing, and rewiring electrical systems. We adhere to ABYC standards in all of our work and review details of these guidelines regularly to ensure top-quality performance meeting or exceeding marine standards.

Finishing

We offer a complete range of fiberglass, gel coat and paint repair, wood working and custom refinishing solutions. Our expertise includes Awlgrip top coat and Interlux, Pettit, and Seahawk bottom paints. We specialize in restoring damaged fiberglass, matching gelcoat, restoring and maintaining bright work and much more.

Rigging

We work closely with top-notch local rig shops for fabricating any part you may need, from the smallest turnbuckle to full standing and running rigging replacements. Whatever your rigging needs, we can take care of them for you.
