| Facility Improvements |
| Over the past year, yard improvments included a new foundation for our Alganac straddlelift track, new ducting, dust collection and enhanced filtration to eliminate dust in our paint room, and four additional furnaces for the back storage building, rigging shop and clean portable heat to individual projects anywhere in the yard. |

| Awlgrip Hull and Superstructure Refinishing |
| Hull and deck refinishing is ongoing. Over the past ten years, non-white colors in factory hull finishes have become very popular, especially dark blue gelcoat. Unfortunately boats with dark hull colors fade rapidly (unlike their traditional white counterparts.) Consequently, late model boats, otherwise in almost new condition, are in desperate need of refinishing within just a few years of manufacture. Awlgrip is the solution, giving a better-than-new fade resistant high gloss that lasts many years. |

| Maintenance |
| Winter is preventive maintenance time. Anything we can accomplish now will mean a more reliable boat for the next season. Hull and rig condition, shafts, props, engines, plumbing, and electrical systems need to be gone over. Besides preventive maintenance, we try to identify problems that will otherwise come back and bite us at an inconvenient time. A visual inspection is a good place to start, but sometimes we have to dig deeper. We know from experience that exhaust systems, heat exchangers, aftercoolers and oil coolers will eventually suffer internal corrosion. The turbo in this picture is a good example. The corroded wet exhaust elbow on this 15 year old engine leaked saltwater into the turbo. On the outside, the engine looked OK but this internal leak could have caused very expensive damage if it had been allowed to continue uncorrected. |
