Brewer Sakonnet Marina is a peaceful, protected port. The yard has two adjacent facilities; both offer seasonal dockageSakonnet South has 125 slips, protected by a breakwater , while Sakonnet North has 189 slips, sheltered by Cedar Island Pond, a basin just off the Sakonnet River.

Coastal cruising to nearby Newport, Fall River, Block Island, Cuttyhunk and Buzzards Bay make for ideal weekend getaways. By dinghy, the Kickamuit River's gunk holes and inlets provide endless opportunity for exploring.

If by land, Portsmouth is only 20 miles from Providence, and 10 miles from Fall River. Nightlife activity and restaurants are just a short distance away.
