Brewer Wickford Cove Marina is a full-service boat yard, with a great reputation for providing top-notch service. Uniquely, Wickford Cove is a full service port for vessels ranging from classic racing yachts to recreational and commercial vessels. Brewer Yacht Yard’s commitment to continuing education provides our crew with the most up to date information and techniques in yacht service.

Facilities/Equipment

With six acres of spacious accommodation, we can care for approximately 300 boats. A 70-ton travel lift and a 35-ton hydraulic trailer support our service operation. The fully-equipped, modern service buildings are heated, and allow our technicians to work in protected, comfortable environments, with great efficiency.

Mechanical

Our talented mechanical team has the experience to handle any job. Whether tackling a major engine refit, a tank replacement, or an extensive fuel, waste or water system modification, our crew are fully capable of handling your boat’s needs. Regularly scheduled service schools offered by Brewer Yacht Yards, ensure that our team are on top of the latest updates in the industry.

Refinishing

Our paint staff enjoys an excellent reputation for producing yacht quality finishes. We turn out numerous Awlgrip jobs every season. Believe it or not, finishing Billy Joel's concert piano with Awlgrip is on our résumé! Our crew also expertly maintains bright work on a variety of vessels.

Electrical

All of our electrical work meets, or exceeds, industry standards and follows all applicable guidelines for ABYC, USCG, and the NFPA.

Carpentry

Our on-site carpenter is capable of taking care of everything from finish cabinetry to keel planks.

Rigging

An in-house rigging technician provides minor repairs and dockside tuning, while major rigging projects are outsourced to New England Yacht Rigging.
