Chesapeake Inn

Known for being one of the “premier waterfront locations on the eastern shore,” the Chesapeake Inn has served as a prized waterfront venue for hosting weddings and celebrations for over 25 years. The pub on the lower-level deck features a casual menu with favorites like brick oven pizza and sushi, sandwiches, and a wide variety of shareables. For more of an upscale dining experience and expansive waterfront views, head to the Dining Room and enjoy a mouthwatering selection of hand-cut steaks, pastas, and fresh seafood. The onsite marina has plenty of slips available for dock n’ dine guests as well as overnight visitors.

Turkey Point Lighthouse

This historic maritime structure is situated on a 100-ft bluff, making it the third tallest off-water light station on the Chesapeake Bay. Learn about the fascinating history of the women who served alongside their male counterparts as lightkeepers long before the advent of the modern women’s rights movement. Located 12 miles from the nearest town, the lightkeepers at Turkey Point had to be totally self-sufficient. This rugged group worked together to farm, hunt, and harvest from the sea in order to survive. To tour the lighthouse, be sure to check the current hours of operation, which are partially based on seasonality and weather conditions and are subject to change from day to day.

Fish Whistle at The Granary

Boasting stunning views of the Sassafras River, live entertainment, delicious eats, and a full service bar, Fish Whistle at the Granary has everything you need for a memorable night out. The menu is seafood forward and showcases the bounty of the region with tantalizing dishes like crab with lemon butter sauce, fresh cioppino, crab cakes, catfish and more. Be sure to make reservations in advance.
