| Mid season repairs |
| Plymouth's crew hauled a 53' Custom Cutter for repair in late July. The vessel got hung up on a channel marker in Woods Hole and sustained damage to the hull midship along with a large section of its rudder. Our crew rebuilt the rudder, replaced a section of foam core at the waterline and refinished a section of the vessel midship with awlgrip. |

| NOAA Fisheries looking for assistance |
| This summer in the early morning hours we donated our travel lift and the expertise of our staff to assist researchers from the Cape Cod Stranding Network in tranporting a humpback whale. They were later able to necropsy (autopsy) and examine the carcass of this stranded humpback whale. The data gathered has been submitted to NOAA Fisheries to aid in conservation of this population. |
