At Brewer Sakonnet Marina, there are two separate dock areas only a stone's throw apart. Sakonnet South, with 125 slips, is protected by a breakwater. Sakonnet North, with 189 slips, is tucked inside a basin, Cedar Island Pond, which is accessed from the Sakonnet River via a small inlet .

Here in Brewer tradition, you'll find plenty of dockside amenities. The marina features floating docks, with all the modern conveniences you expect to find at a first class facility. Dock staff are always within a radio call, and are ready to help you with your every need.

North Dock Layout

Brewer Sakonnet Marina offers several storage options:

Inside storage is available in two of our North Yard buildings. The buildings are not heated, but all indoor boats are covered with plastic dust covers for the winter. Inside storage rates are figured by the square foot; all spring commissioning and winter work is done by Sakonnet staff - no exceptions. Due to insurance restrictions, customers are never permitted to work on boats inside our buildings.

Wet Storage is an option at both our North Yard and South Yard.  Electric use is metered and billed out during the winter.  Wet storage customers must pay in advance, before occupying a slip.  Proof of insurance must be provided. Live Aboards are welcome, but use of electric heaters is strictly prohibited.

Outside Storage is available in both the North & South Yards; most boats under 30' are stored in our South Yard. Jack stands are checked on all boats throughout the winter season. Batteries are stored in a shed specifically designed for the purpose of keeping and charging batteries throughout the winter months.

Mast Storage is accommodated outside in both yards.  Masts are wrapped in plastic on request.

Outdrive & Outboard Storage is available both inside and outside our heated mechanic shop.

Please Note:  Covers should NEVER be tied to boat stands.  When it gets windy, covers tied to stands can act like sails and cause boats to fall over, creating a domino effect.  Finally, please do not lock ladders to boat stands.

Brewer Customer Club Cards entitle slip and storage customers to free and discounted transient dockage and discounted fuel at all Brewer Yacht Yard facilities.
