Whether repairing a faulty bilge pump or installing a fully integrated navigational electronics package, our electrical department is eager to meet the challenges of any boat owner's electrical and electronics needs. By combining extensive vessel management and professional sailing experience with exceptional design, planning, and troubleshooting skills, our Head Electrician is able to maintain, repair, and install trouble-free systems on yachts of all sizes. To ensure comprehensive, safe, and reliable systems that meet our clients' long-term needs, we happily work with individual yachtsmen on developing a plan for each project. All of our work meets, or exceeds, industry standards and follows all applicable guidelines for ABYC, USCG, and the NFPA. Typical projects include battery and shore power upgrades and systems installations, such as those for alternator, inverter/charger, and gensets. We regularly undertake rewiring projects, solar and wind power installations, and satellite communications and computer interfacing. In addition, we install and interface all major brands of navigation and communication electronics. Custom installation jobs have included in-house redesigns and assemblies of nav stations and consoles, as well as the design and fabrication of radar antenna masts. Needless to say, this department has earned the respect and confidence of both yachtsmen and manufacturers.
