Amenities

Brewer Manasquan River Club strives to provide its marina members with comfort and convenience. Quality customer experiences and user-friendly facilities and resources are our priorities.

  • Secure Gated Yard
  • Saltwater Swimming Pool
  • Heated and Air Conditioned Bathhouse and Restrooms
  • Laundry Facilities

Today Manasquan remains one of the top New Jersey Shore getaways. Thousands flock to the beach each summer by day – and many more come to Manasquan in the evening to enjoy the fine restaurants and nightlife. Manasquan offers fishing in the ocean and river, as well as one entire beach devoted to the needs of the handicapped. From beach to inlet, 1st Avenue to Wigwam Path, the borough of Manasquan offers variety to the restaurant patron. Manasquan restaurants can be described as ‘upscale’ in a word, ‘down to earth’ in a phrase and ‘Some of the best restaurants on the Jersey Shore‘ in a sentence. Manasquan’s summer season offers a great variety of high-quality dining experiences. This is not news to the locals. Make reservations wherever possible or choose to dine in the early evenings on weekends (5:00PM or so), if you would like to be seated within a reasonable period of time. This will give you ample opportunity to take in a show at The Algonquin Arts Theater or stroll along Main Street and window shop (always a safe thing for your budget). For more restaurants go to Jersey Shore.

About the Area

Brick enjoys a location that is convenient to all the best attractions of Ocean County, including three pristine beaches of its own. Brick has a remarkable variety of recreational activities as well as shopping and easy access to other shore towns such as Pt. Pleasant and Bayhead. While the majority of Brick is located on the mainland, Ocean Beaches I, II and III are situated on the Barnegat Peninsula, a long, narrow barrier peninsula that separates Barnegat Bay from the Atlantic Ocean. The mainland and beach area of the town are not geographically adjacent. Brick was incorporated as a township by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on February 15, 1850, from portions of both Dover Township (now Toms River Township) and Howell Township. The township was named after Joseph Brick, the owner of Bergen Iron Works located on the Metedeconk River. For most of its early history, Brick was a fishing and agricultural center. In the late 1800’s and early 1900’s, the New Jersey Shore was being developed as a resort area. Because of this, the main economy shifted from agriculture to commercial activities. In the 1950’s, there was a large trend of suburbanization as droves of people left large cities in favor of more rural areas. The opening of the Garden State Parkway in 1954 made it possible to live somewhat inexpensively in an undeveloped region, but still commute to work in New York City.
