Great access to Buzzards Bay, the Canal and The Elizabeth islands. Very professional staff - my boat was stored on a rack and they’d have it in the water within minutes of my arrival. Scott and his team do a great job.

Elizabeth Islands

Located northwest of Martha’s Vineyard and first discovered in 1602, the Elizabeth Islands are home to many prominent estates and compounds, including those belonging to the Forbes family. For this reason, Cuttyhunk Island is the sole island with amenities and is largely uninhabited in the off-season. During the summer, it’s more lively, but remains an excellent place to get away for some peace and quiet. Hiking and fishing are some of the most popular recreational activities among visitors.

Nantucket & Martha’s Vineyard

This pair of islands to the south of Cape Cod have been vacation destinations for affluent families for generations. The towering beach cliffs of Martha’s Vineyard are world-renown, and the sunsets on Nantucket Beach are truly unforgettable. Apart from the usual beach activities like sunbathing, swimming, fishing, and surfing, there are many attractions here to explore. Historic lighthouses dot the coastlines and colonial-era structures like the Tabernacle in Oaks Bluff and surrounding gingerbread houses are fascinating to visit. Whimsical shops of all kinds are also plentiful here, as are boutique restaurants, summer ice cream shops, and art galleries.

Cape Cod Winery

Sip and savor the flavors of Cape Cod at this charming winery, located in the East Falmouth neighborhood and less than three miles from the beach. Situated on a former strawberry farm, the covered outdoor seating area is ideal for spending a relaxing afternoon with a friend or two while indulging in a glass of the winery’s signature “Rosé Mermaid Water.” Live music and other fun events take place here throughout the year, so be sure to take a look at the latest happenings when planning your visit.

Black Beach

For a rare glimpse of unspoiled coastal beauty, make plans to spend a relaxing afternoon at this sandy barrier beach, which runs along the edge of Great Sippewissett Marsh in Falmouth. The name of the area originates from the unusual white sand swirled with gray and black patches, providing a striking backdrop to the surrounding marshlands, which are teeming with wildlife. Both landscapes are fascinating to explore and can be accessed by paddlers and bikers on the Shining Sea Bikeway, which runs along the eastern edge.

Somerset Creamery

This family-owned shop has been proudly serving up homemade ice cream and other sweet treats since 1937. Be sure to try their signature flavor, Cranberry Bog, chock full of dark chocolate, craisins, and walnuts and bursting with cranberry flavor. Waffle cones are made fresh in-house daily for an added handmade touch. Other popular offerings include sundaes, banana splits, floats, and frappes, with pint and quart sized containers available for purchase.

Falmouth Raw Bar

Voted “Best Raw Bar” by Cape Cod Life Magazine, this Falmouth treasure is the perfect stop for enjoying fresh, delicious local seafood. Enjoy gorgeous waterfront views, a lively but casual atmosphere, and favorites like the clam chowder, lobster roll, and oysters on the half shell. The restaurant hosts regular line-ups of live entertainment and a bar menu full of refreshing drink options. A fantastic spot to soak up a summer evening, catch the big game, and experience the best of local nightlife.
