Brewer Sakonnet Marina is a six-acre spread, between its North and South Yards, offering plenty of service accommodation and storage space. A breakwater protects Sakonnet South’s 125 slips, while Sakonnet North’s 189 slips are sheltered by Cedar Island Point—a basin just off the Sakonnet River. Nearly 400 boats are maintained and cared for every year.
Brewer Sakonnet Marina is just 20 minutes from Providence and conveniently situated to all major business centers, recreational opportunities, attractions, and the Providence Airport. By water, there are over thirty islands in Narragansett Bay, as well as the nearby popular ports of Newport, Block Island, and Cuttyhunk.
For those interested in a round of golf, Montaup Country Club is within walking distance. As for nightlife, two nearby restaurants offer courtesy transportation for marina guests. A third dining option, an open-air restaurant, can be accessed by dinghy for a great eating-out experience.

Brewer Sakonnet Marina offers several storage options:
Inside storage is available in two of our North Yard buildings. Buildings are heated during working hours, and all indoor boats are covered with plastic dust covers for the winter. Inside storage rates are figured by the square foot; and all spring commissioning and winter work is completed by Sakonnet staff, who work year ‘round to ensure proper care for your boat.
Wet Storage is an option at both the North Yard and South Yard. To secure your winter slip, proof of insurance and payment is to be provided. Electric use is metered and billed accordingly, throughout the winter. We welcome live-aboard customers, but for safety reasons, do not allow electric heaters.
Outside Storage is available in both the North & South Yards; most boats under 30′ are stored in our South Yard. Jack stands are checked on all boats throughout the winter season. Batteries are stored in a designated shed, and are charged throughout the winter months.
Mast Storage is accommodated in both yards. Masts are wrapped in plastic on request, and are stored outside.
Outdrive & Outboard Storage is available both inside and outside our heated mechanic shop.
Please Note: For the safety of all customers, covers should never be tied to boat stands. During windy conditions, covers can act like sails and cause boats to fall over, which can create a domino effect for other boats, as well. Also, please do not lock ladders to boat stands.
